International Guidelines on Anti-Bullying and Harassment
To renew their commitment to a harassment and bullying-free workplace in shipping, ECSA and ETF commissioned the translation of ICS and ITF international guidance into 15 languages (13 EU Languages FR, ES, DE, PL, BG, RO, IT, PT, HR, GR, NL, LV, LT as well as into Tagalog and Russian languages).
ECSA and ETF believe that in order to encourage the inclusion of policies on eradicating bullying and harassment in health and safety company policies and in view of the variety of nationalities working on board ships, the guidelines would benefit from widespread translation to ensure cross cultural dissemination with the aim of creating a workplace free from bullying and harassment.
